Getting to Scotland
This map shows the first week of our tour, from Baldham to Calais via Olpe &Belgium, ferry to dover, a night at Ruth&Pauls, a few days with Mum in Grassington, a weekend with the Hayward-Smith/Hilten/Garrett families in Hexham, a couple of days in Edinburgh, then to Inverness, via Stirling.

- Sat 7th – Tue 10th: Hexham
Klein Strand Holiday Park, near Bruges
Somewhat loud, as right next to the motorway, and large, but spacious with big pitches, and located directly on our route from Olpe, just one hour from Calais and close to Bruges/Brugge.
Ruth&Pauls
We arrived on Sunday afternoon and had a lovely time chewing the cud!
Mum
It was good to spend some time with Mum, and see tht she had recovered well from her Gallstones treatment.
Hexham
Rachel & Ben, Buzz & Adrian and Jenny took it in turns to feed us and show us the sights: Hadrians Wall, Corbridge and Hexham Abbey.
