Under the guidance of His Majesty King Charles III, Balmoral Castle opened its doors to the public in 2024, offering an exclusive look inside the Royal Family’s Scottish private residence for the very first time. General admission (£18.50) includes admission to the gardens and the ballroom, but visiting other rooms casts £110!).

Balmoral Estate has held significant historical value and offers serene Scottish scenery that has captivated the Royal Family and their guests for generations.

Gardens
Originally developed under Prince Albert’s keen supervision, these historic and regal gardens are a living piece of history, reflecting generations of royal dedication to preserving and enhancing the natural environment. His Majesty, King Charles III is renowned for his passion for gardening, commitment to sustainability and has played a pivotal role in the gardens’ continued evolution.
Dining
The reasonbly priced menu uses only the finest ingredients, harvested directly from the Balmoral Estate or selected from trusted local suppliers. We had a reasonably priced meal, with scones&clotted cream.
In summer an extravagent Afternoon Tea is served on bone china (£70!!! including general admission)
