Timisoare
The first stop on our South-East Europe tour, after a long but practically traffic jam-free journey from Baldham via Vienna and Budapest (neither of which we stopped at), with only a 6-hour break at a motorway service station in Hungary.
Easter Decorations
The whole town centre was full of Easter Bunnies and Easter Egg decorations.
Pre-Communist Buildings
Many of the lovely stately buildings which survived the communist era have been lovingly renovated. In between were many concrete blocks of flats, reminding of the communist Coucescu era.

Spring Fowers
Not only lovely flower beds in the numerous parks and green spaces, but also wonderful cut flower arrangements adorning fountains and statues: spring has defintely sprung in Romania!
Bustling
We arrived in the morning, when there was already a lot of traffic, but not many peope in the pedestrianised centre, but by lunchtime it was filling up, making it a lively and colourful city.
Galerie
We also spent an evening in Timisoare on the homeward journey, between Belogradchik (Bulgaria) and Puklovic Vinyard, Slovenia.
