Bayerischer Betriebssportverband Süd e.V.

The BBV Süd promotes many different sports in southern Bavaria (football, golf, chess, squash, tennis, table tennis and volleybal).

I play for the TSC Squash team.

BBV-Squash-Mannschaft-Saison-2025-2026

Most of the top squash players in Bavaria play in the league, which is less formal and takes less time than the formal squash league games.

We're currently mid-table (5th out of 8).

Masters

I played my first masters tournament in January 2025, and would love to play them all!

Below are the masters I'd like to play this year, but as I probably won't be able to play so many, favorites are BOLD. Reluctantly I've excluded the Slovenia and Latvia Masters in April as they clash with Martins Italian sailing tour.

2025

Recently retired, I'd hoped to play German Senior tournaments and some of the European Masters tournaments. Unfortunately, due to health issues, I only played 3 of the 7 tournaments I wanted to play, and wasn't fully fit for the European Championships in Wroclaw (Breslau) Poland (August 2025).

I had some good results this year, but was a little disappointed to lose to Vincent Bradley in the semi-final of the German Seniors Over 60's.

2012

In 2012, after training hard for the bike transalp challenge, I entered the German International Seniors Squash Tournament (Over 50's), and won it.
