Men were split into A, B, C, with 16 players in A & B, and 26 in C. There were 13 ladies. Players were sorted according to the German Rangliste & at the discretion of the organisers.

My Tournament
As the standard was so high, I was glad to be in the "Herren C", although this meant 5 games instead of 4.
On Saturday I won all my 3 games 3-0, so on Sunday morning, at 09:30(!) I played the semi-final, against Michael Aurich.
The first 2 sets were quite close, but Michael won both. The 3rd set was even closer: I took it 11-8, thanks to a few mistakes by Michael. In the 4th I was tired and Michael was more concentrated, winning it 11-6.
In the 3rd place play-off, I won 3-1 against Lukas Maile.
For 3rd Place in Herren C, I was awarded 371 Ranglistenpunkte, putting me at position 140 in the Deustsche Rangliste! In the Over-60's Rangliste I'm at position 23, based on the 2025 German Senioren -Meisterschaft 3rd place and DSenRLT Herren B win.
