My Games
Group C
4.12
Keven Stander
11-5, 11-7, 11-2.
Keven hit the ball hard&clean, but I could use this against him, often catching him with an early short ball.

Group C
4.12.
Goran Milicevic
L11-6, 11-8, 11-3
Goran played some tricky shots, but again I could catch him with drops after pushing him back with a long-line, or directly from his service.

Quarter Final
5.12.
Dan Folley
11-3, 11-6, 11-5
Early Saturday morning, I think Dan was suffering a bit more from Fridays games than I was, and i managed to keep up the pressure to not let him in.

Semi Final
5.12.
Tony Griffin
5-11, 11-7, 6-11, 12-10, 5-11
My first and only game on the glass court was tough but fun: Tony is a very experienced player, who's played at the top level, so I really had to concentrate. I often hit my racquet against the side wall returing tight long-lines, often had to play a boast on a good length and got dazzled when Tony played a lob... but as the front wall took the pace off the ball, good stops (when Tony was behind me) were often winners, and my lobs were difficult for him to see, relieving the pressure (I should have played moreof them!).
I was 10-5 up in the fourth and let Tony get back to 10-10 before sneaking it 12-10, then started very slow in the 5th, letting Tony get a big lead, which I didn't manage to close.

3rd Place
6.12.
Helmut Rohrer
11-6, 11-5, 9-11, 11-7
We were both a bit tired, and not very sharp at the front, so stops were often winners. After being pretty much in control in the first 2 sets, I relaxed just as Helmut upped his game to take the 3rd set. I managed to scrape the 4th, and avoid a fifth!
