Grassington
In the scenic Yorkshire Dales, Grassington is a pretty village, with several nice pubs... and it's where Mum lives.
Mum celebrated her 90th birthday with a Ceilidh at the Craven Arms in Appletreewock. We stayed in one of the Shepherds Huts. See Granny’s 90ieth Birthday Ceiledh (Password protected)
North Wales
Wales was magnificent in glorious sunshine, with temperatures peaking at 30°. Staying near Pwllheli on the beautiful Llyn peninsula, with trips to Caernarvon, Beaumaris, Snowdon, Nefyn, Criccieth and Bangor.

Dartmouth, Devon
Dartmouth is a picturesque Devon town, which we visited as part of a day trip, taking the steam train from Paignton, combined with a steam paddle boat-trip on the River Dart.

Stonehenge
Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument on Salisbury Plain in Wiltshire, England, constructed from around 3000 BC to 2000 BC. It is 90 miles (145km) west of London.

Contains many of the original sets used in the Harry Potter films.
Lustleigh
Lustleigh is a small village in Devon, where Mark, Jackie, Eliouse and Beatrive have lovingly reonvated a lovely house and gardens.
It is reachable only by narrow winding roads: a bit of a squeeze for our car, and unpassiable for the womo!

Visting Pete, Julie, Katrina & Dexter, unfortunately missing Katrina's 30th birthday party, which was the same day as Mum's 90th.
